Justice Babatunde Olawoyin of the state High Court, Ring road, Ibadan has granted bail in the sum of ten million and two prominent and responsible sureties to Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, ace broadcaster, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, and the principal of Islamic High School, Bashorun Fasasi Abdulahi.
Justice Olawoyin while granting the bail application ruled that the defendants must submit their international passport pending formal arraignment.
The three defendants are standing trial on a four count of conspiracy, acceleration of death, negligent acts causing harm, and failure to provide adequate security and medical facilities.
Recalled that thirty-five children lost their lives during a stampede at a Christmas funfair, held at Islamic High School, Bashorun area of Ibadan, allegedly organised by the defendants last month.
