Ibadan Explosion: Asiwaju Adini, Hassan Giwa Visits Scene, Condoles With Families

A foremost religious leader and Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa has expressed sympathy to the victims of Bodija explosion, Ibadan community and Oyo State in general.

The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, during his visit to the site of explosion, condoled the families and relatives of those who lost their lives to the incident, and prayed to God to give them fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

He prayed for speedy recovery for those receiving treatments at various hospitals.

Arc Giwa described the incident as a very sad experience and unfortunate at this period in the country.

He lamented the magnitude of damage recorded at the scene, however, appreciated the state government, security operatives and first responders for the swift reactions and efforts to ensure the situation is under control.

Asiwaju Adini, while calling on the federal and the state governments to make sure perpetrators are brought to book, advised Nigerians to be law abiding citizens and work with government and security operatives to avert occurrences of situations of this nature in the future.

“The deed has been done but is it very important that the perpetrators of this must be brought to book and the justice must be served. It is very key to always be careful anywhere we find ourselves because we can’t be doing things the same way and expect different results. It is very key to be law abiding citizens, wherever the government says it is a restricted area, we should always abide and follow things according to the law of the land,” Arc Hassan Giwa said.
