Ibadan Central Hospital Saga: Update As Oyo Police Command Reacts

Following the incident that happened at Ibadan Central hospital Ososami on Monday where the facility was alleged of mutilating the remains of a 91 year old patient Rachell Osanyintolu, new and existing patients have been denied access to the facility.

According to Radio Nigeria, a visit to the hospital revealed that the usual flow of operations at the hospital has reduced to the lowest ebb.

It was also observed that the two main gate to the hospital were locked while security guard at the third entrance emphatically said there were no personnel on ground to attend to the patients.

It was gathered that members of staff were all in mufti and we’re seen gathered at a building opposite the hospital discussing .

Meanwhile the Police Public Relation Officer Oyo state command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed that those arrested in connection with the case were still at the state CID.

The corpse of mama Rachel Osanyintolu that was mutilated after her demise last Sunday has been taken to University college hospital for autopsy as part of effort to unravel the mystery surrounding the mutilation.
