There are indications that some lawmakers in the Oyo State House of Assembly are dumping the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to join the opposition party in the state, All Progressives Congress, APC.
Recall that the Oyo State House of Assembly has 26 PDP lawmakers out of the 32 parliamentarians
Unconfirmed report indicated that Eight of the serving lawmakers are set to join (APC).
A PDP lawmaker who claimed anonymity also confirmed to journalists in Ibadan on Sunday.
He claimed that the planned defection is because the state lawmakers were denied the party’s ticket to contest the 2023 elections.
