Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Lekan Balogun has emphasized the need for the speedy completion of the new Olubadan palace at Oke Aremo.
Oba Balogun made the call at a programme in commemoration of the 100 days on throne of the olubadan organized by the council of traditional baales in Ibadan.
Represented by the Asipa Olubadan, High Chief Abiodun Kola-Daisi, Oba Balogun said the completion of the new palace was long overdue, appealing to the baales to rise up to the challenge.
He appreciated the council of traditional baales in Ibadanland for their supports to the progress and development of Ibadan and called on other Ibadan associations to emulate the council.
Earlier, Chairman Council of traditional baales in Ibadanland and baale Ekotedo, Elder Taye Ayorinde challenged all baales to raise their security consciousness considering the threatening security situation.
Elder Ayorinde also told the baales to give agriculture the attention it deserved in their domains.

Some of the award recipients are Chairman, Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat, Rtd Major General Abdulahi Muriana and Mrs V.A Samson, CEO Bovas Petroleum.
