The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has denied the leader of the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu’s bail application.
The court also dismissed the bail application citing gross abuse of the court processes.
In her ruling on Tuesday Justice Binta Nyako said the suit was an attempt to continue to litigate on issues that have already been ruled on.
She said that the suit has suffered 15 adjournments and the matter has yet to enter a substantive hearing since the July 2017 ruling when Kanu was granted bail.
She, however, advised the applicant to approach the Court of Appeal on the issue of bail, should he feel aggrieved by the decision of the court
