Ebuka declared that the season’s theme will be “Level Up” before the current rave sensation, YBNL’s Asake, took the stage to an already enraged crowd that had missed the live performances for two years owing to COVID-19 limitations.
Six men and six women were welcomed into Biggie’s home on the first episode, marking the beginning of 72 days filled with intrigue, controversies, a contest of wits, and, of course, romance.
According to Ebuka, this year’s Housemates will compete for the N100naira grand prize during the “Level up” season. Groovy entered the house first, followed by Beauty, Khalid, Ilebaye, Amaka, Cyph, Daniella, PharmSavi, Phyna, Bryan, and Christy in a season that has been dubbed the “Gen Z” version. This is possibly because the age range of this year’s chosen housemates, who ranged from 20 to 30 years old during tonight’s initial revelation event, was so wide.
