Every day they say is for the thief but one day is for the owner goes a popular saying.
This adage came to the fore on Saturday at akala Express, Oríta Challenge area of Ibadan when a young man was caught while allegedly trying to steal a car.
The man whose age is between 25 and 30 was alleged to have used a master key with him to open a Lexus jeep car packed at the frontage of the shop of the car owner.
The owner of the car who did not want her name mentioned, explained that she was sleeping in her shop ,woke up suddenly and found the suspect in her car which she has locked initially trying to start the car.
She said other shops owner immediately came to her assistance in dragging the suspect out of the car after raising alarm
Reacting, the suspect who claimed to be an indigene of Lagos denied the allegation saying he doesn’t know how he found himself in ibadan.
The suspect was later dragged to the road median which attracted huge crowd to the scene.
The suspect was later taken to Oríta Challenge police station .
