All arrangements have been concluded by Hon. Lanre Sarumi, the PDP House of Representatives candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency, to give hundreds of his constituents financial support holding on Friday, 18th November, 2022..
In order to increase the personnel at the Sabo Healthcare Center and ensure that it operates at its full potential around-the-clock, the Ibadan-born software technology delivery consultant also hired four additional healthcare professionals to the centre.
Newsmen reliably gathered that the incumbent lawmaker representing the federal constituency, Mr. Musiliu Akinremi during the 2019 electioneering promised to boost the workforce of the facility, but nothing was done till the present moment when Hon. Sarumi came to the rescue of the healthcare centre.
With an average of at least five deliveries each month, the Sabo healthcare center is the most frequently utilized medical institution in the federal constituency.
“Hiring four extra workers for Sabo Healthcare Centre is to enhance their service delivery and enable them render 24 hours service to our constituents.” Sarumi stated.
Talking about the cash empowerment for his constituents, the Ibadan North Federal Constituency PDP candidate said he understands the economic situation of the country and how it tells on the people, hence his resolve to put smile on the faces of some people in his personal capacity.
“What some people need to meet their daily need is just token amount of money to start petty trading and little business to survive, but they don’t have any help. As part of my resolve to always identify with the needy and the less privileged in the society, hundreds of people will smile home with cash gift to enable them start one business or the other while many will use the money to improve their business capital base.” The young cerebral incoming lawmaker said.
He urged the beneficiaries of the kind gesture to utilise the cash gift judiciously and to improve their lives.
Honourable Lanre Sarumi also used the opportunity to call on well-meaning Nigerians to always help the poor and the needy in whatever capacity they can. He stressed that this will go a long way to reduce crime and other vices in the society.
