Prominent Christian leader and revered cleric in Oyo State, Bishop David Moradeyo, has declared that spiritual revelations from multiple sources unanimously point to Hon. Shina Peller as the next Senator representing the Oyo North Senatorial District in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Bishop Moradeyo made the disclosure on Tuesday during an expanded strategic engagement meeting between Hon. Peller and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) leadership with key Oyo North Christian Stakeholders in Iseyin.

Speaking on behalf of the religious leadership present at the gathering, Bishop Moradeyo stated that after extensive prayers, spiritual consultation and evaluation, the Christian stakeholders were convinced that Peller’s candidacy carries both divine backing and popular support across the district.

In a landmark communique issued at the end of the meeting, the Oyo North Christian Stakeholders formally adopted a slate of preferred candidates for the 2027 polls.
The group unanimously endorsed His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for the Presidency; Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi for the Oyo State Governorship; and Hon. Shina Peller for the Oyo North Senatorial seat.
Furthermore, the stakeholders declared their total support for all candidates contesting under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
Responding to the endorsement, Hon. Shina Peller expressed deep appreciation to the Christian leaders and stakeholders for their unyielding confidence in his leadership and vision for the district.
Peller assured the gathering of his unwavering commitment to exemplary governance, promising to run an inclusive administration that prioritizes every constituent regardless of faith or background.
“I am deeply humbled by this sacred trust and overwhelming show of support from our respected spiritual fathers and stakeholders,” Peller said. “When given the mandate to represent Oyo North in the Red Chamber, I pledge to be a senator for all.
“My representation will be strictly anchored on the core principles of equity, fairness and justice, ensuring that no community, religion or ethnic group is left behind.”
