Nigeria @62: Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin, Reps Member, Akande-Sadipe Urge Nigerians To Keep Hope Alive

The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has urged Nigerians home and abroad not to lose hope in the Nation’s project adding that all the social, political and economic crises which have befallen the country are surmountable.

Hon Ogundoyin made the appeal in a message to congratulate Nigerians on the 2022 Independence Day celebration.

Oyo Speaker who noted that with God all things are possible further appealed to Nigerians not to be broken hearted or dispirited as there is light at the end of the tunnel for the nation.

” Congratulations to all of us on another Independence celebration. Nigeria became an independent nation 62 years ago. But since then the nation has experienced more bad fortunes than good ones. I want to advise us not to despair. We will surely come out of the present doldrums we find ourselves by the grace of God. To lose hope is to resign to fate and be defeated. To lose hope is to write off the nation. ”

While saying that the best way to help the nation to come out of its crises is for Nigerians to fully participate in matters concerning the country, stressing that enough of Siddon Look

Also in her independence message, Tolu Akande-Sadipe, a member of the House of Representatives and the representative for Oluyole Federal Constituency, urged Nigerians to maintain faith in their country despite the difficulties it faces today.

Akande-Sadipe, who chairs the House Committee on Diaspora, expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome its issues, particularly insecurity, in a statement by her special assistant on media and publicity, Olamilekan Olusada.

“Nigeria remains a force to reckon with in the comity of nations. I beseech us to remain steadfast and go to the polls to vote in the 2023 elections based on​ facts, track record and not on false sentiments and propaganda”, she said.

Her heartfelt plea to Nigerians to uphold their patriotism and vote in 2023 was laced with love for the country.

She emphasized the importance of everyone in Nigeria participating fully in the next elections, adding that each individual’s contribution will make Nigeria a better country.

In order to foster unity and growth, Hon. Akande-Sadipe urged Nigerians to look inward, contribute their fair share, and practice peace.

“2023 is approaching, our votes will make a huge difference. So I appeal to us all to abhor any firm of violence. Nigeria will be great again”, she concluded.
