Oyo South APM Senatorial Candidate, ‘Odidiomo’ Condemns Adelabu’s Sister’s Abduction

Oyo south senatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) and member representing Ibadan North-west/Ibadan South-west federal constituency of Oyo state in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide has condemned the abduction of Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, younger sister of former Minister of Power and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, alongside her twin sons.

Olajide described the incident as a painful, disturbing and unacceptable development capable of heightening fears among residents and undermining the relative peace for which Oyo state is known.

The federal lawmaker stated this in a statement made available to journalists on wednesday through his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha.

Mrs. John-Paul and her 12 year old twin sons were reportedly abducted by armed men on wednesday morning while she was on her way to drop the children at school in Ibadan.

Olajide expressed sympathy with the Adelabu family and all those affected by the unfortunate development, while calling on security agencies to deploy every available resource towards ensuring the safe rescue of the victims and the apprehension of those behind the crime.
