In his efforts to boost nighttime visibility, deter crime, and enhance operational efficiency at key security outposts across Ido Local Government, Executive Chairman Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has donated solar-powered streetlights to multiple conventional security agencies.

He also presented a bicycle to the non-conventional security outlet “Omo Ode Agbekoya,” located opposite Bakatari Market.

The donations came immediately after the monthly security meeting with security operatives and religious leaders at the Executive Hall, Ido Local Government Secretariat.

Key beneficiaries include:
– Police Stations at Ile Ido, Omi Apata, Eleyele, Apata, Kuola, Oke Alaro, and Apete (six solar streetlights each).
– Operation Burst office (six solar streetlights).
– Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) (six solar streetlights).
– Ologuneru Police Station, Department of State Services (DSS), and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) (two solar streetlights each).
– Immigration Office (one solar streetlight).
Security representatives voiced deep appreciation for the chairman’s gesture, recommitting to vigilant service and community safety. Hon. Adeojo called for seamless collaboration among agencies, pledging his administration’s ongoing support to ensure lasting peace in Ido Local Government.
“This initiative reaffirms our priority on security as the foundation of progress,” Hon. Adeojo said. “We remain dedicated partners in keeping Ido calm, secure, and prosperous for all residents and businesses.”
