NYSC DG Expresses Concern Over Quality Of Graduates Presented For Mobilization

The Director General, National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC ), Brigadier General Muhammad Fadah has expressed concern over the declining quality of graduates presented for mobilisation.

This was said by Brigadier General Muhammad Fadah in Abuja during the Batch C Corps members’ 2022 Pre-mobilization workshop.

The head of NYSC who stated this during the 2022 Batch B Streams 1 and 2 orientation programs, also said it was discovered that prospective corps members stationed abroad were unable to defend their credentials.

In addition, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), stated that the Central Admission Processing System, or CAPs, helped identify nearly one million students who had been improperly admitted into colleges and universities from 2017 and 2021

Professor Oloyede explained that after admitting to the crime, the Minister of Education gave amnesty to the defaulters.

He advised corps producing institutions to follow lay down rules and avoid mobilizing unqualified students for national service.
