Burial activities for Venerable Oyebanji Mobayoje Adewoye begins on Tuesday, 30th of August, 2022.
According to a statement by family, a commendation service will hold at St. Peters Anglican Church, Apata, Ibadan at five o’clock in the evening.
On Wednesday, there would be service of songs in honour of the late Cleric at his residence in Olorunda Aba at four o’clock in the evening, while a Christian Wake would hold on Thursday at St. Stephen Anglican Church, Alegongo, Akobo at five o’clock in the evening.
The funeral service for Baba Adewoye would take place at the Cathedral of St. David, Kudeti, Ibadan at ten O’clock in the morning.
Venerable Oyebanji Mobayoje Adewoye, popularly known as “Baba Christ”, died on the first of August, this year at the age of 77.
The Clergyman is survived by wife, Mrs Cecilia Adewoye, Children ; Mrs Oluwafunke Faniran, who is the wife of Deputy Director News, Radio Nigeria, Ibadan, Mr Adewumi Faniran, Mr Oluwaseun Adewoye, Mrs Oluwagbemi Gabriel and Mr Oluwagbamila Adewoye and Grandchildren.
