A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa, has been honoured with 2025 IMTTI Educational Award.
The IMTTI Educational Award is an initiative of the International Montessori Teachers Training Institute, to recognize the contributions and efforts of individuals, agencies and corporate organizations in the development and promotion of education in Nigeria.

The award ceremony was held at Banquet Hall, Nigerian National Merit Award Secretariat, Maitama, Abuja on Saturday, 22nd of February, 2025.
According to the organizers under the chairman and co-chairman of the organizing committee, Abu AbdirRahman and Mal. Mas’ud Abdul-Majeed, disclosed that the contributions of Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa in the promotion and development of education in Nigeria can not be over emphasized.
“Congratulations for being chosen for the 2025 IMTTI Educational Award (individual category). You were chosen for your demonstration of educational excellence with the highest standard of ethical conduct, integrity, civic and social responsibility.”
While appreciating the gesture of the organizers in recognizing his contributions, Arc Giwa, who is the Managing Director of Amron Global Nigeria Limited and Chairman, Skyheights Academy, expressed his happiness for the recognition and the award.
The founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation described the honour as a call for a responsive and responsible leadership. He said that the recognition will spur him and others who have dedicated their energy and resources to the development of humanity through education to do more.
Arc Giwa disclosed that education remains the only pillar that other sectors rest to make a country stand out among a committee of nations.
He appreciated President Bola Tinubu for ensuring sustainable higher education and functional skill development for Nigerian students through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), saying that spending more on education will bring room for innovation of new ideas that will fetch the country meaningful development in no distant years to come.
The Chairman of Skyheights Academy charged the governments both federal and state to prioritize policies that promote education by emulating countries which devoted larger percentage of the budget to education.
The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland appreciated the organizers for dedicating their time, resources and energy to the course that promotes education in the country.
Arc Giwa assured that he will not relent on his oars to support the development of education in his local government, state and Nigeria as a whole.
He emphasized that his foundation, Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG), as part of his agenda, will soon commence distribution of free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for the candidates seeking to write the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
