Ibarapa East Council Chairman, Arogundade Hosts NSCDC Area Commander, Restates Commitment To Security

The Ibarapa Area Commander of Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, ACC Victor Olafisoye on Wednesday 22 January, 2025 paid a courtesy visit to Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade in his office.
In his address, Area Commander Victor Olafisoye extolled the virtue of Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, saying he is a considerate leader. The Civil Defence Security boss in Ibarapa land declared that he was overwhelmed with good news he heard about the council Chairman.
According to him, “We are satisfied with your leadership and I want to advise that you should keep it up.” ACC Olafisoye pledged his full cooperation with Hon. Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade as far as security in Ibarapa is concerned.
Speaking further, the Security boss enlisted their challenges such as patrol vehicle and permanent office, adding that the temporary office they use was not well equipped.
In his response, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon Kazeem Owolabi Arogundade promised to renovate the damaged structure of the officers office at Eruwa. The council helmsman also vowed to support any idea that could bring development to Ibarapa East Local Government from the officers, adding that he was satisfied with their mode of operation.
In his own contribution, Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA) of the council,Pastor Sunday Idowu Adegoke thanked Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps led by its Area Commander, ACC Victor Olafisoye for the courtesy visit. Pastor Adegoke pointed out that security is very paramount in any society, noting that there would not be any reasonable development in the environment of insecurity.
The cleric assured the security officers adequate support with other two local governments in Ibarapa to ease their job.
