A parish of the Christ Apostolic Church in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday night, has been gutted by fire.
The incident recorded no casualty as residents were scampering to salvage the situation.
Radio Nigeria correspondent who visited the scene reports that he incident started around 9:00 pm at Wisdom Estate, Road 1G, Akobo/Olohunda Road, Lagelu Local Government Area.
The fire broke out when the church was hosting a Friday vigil.
According to Chairman of the Wisdom Estate, Mr Nurudeen Lamidi “The incident happened in the night around 9:30pm when they were having Friday vigil.
He said the cause of the fire incident could not be ascertain now.
Men of Oyo State Fire Services, later arrived when the church has been raised down completely.
