Motorists and some civil servants this morning, Monday 21st October, 2024 became stranded on the Ido Eruwa road as a result of the deplorable condition of the road. newsarena.ng reports
An eye witness report made available to newsarena.ng indicated that the Ido-Eruwa road became impassable for road users, as a section of the road were blocked by heavy duty vehicles that were stuck in the muddy road.
The witness account also showed that commuters and civil servants in the Omituntun Bus have been stranded on the road, somewhere after the All Saints church Cemetery.

As at the time of filing this report, commuters are still stranded and have reportedly used over 2hrs without knowing what to do.
They however appealed to local and state governments to come to the rescue..
