“Conversion Of Vehicles From Petrol, Diesel To LNG Is In Progress” – Oyo RTEAN Chairman

Oyo state chairman, Road Transport Employer Association of Nigeria, Com. Kamorudeen Idowu Owogesi has described the national president of the association, Dr (Amb) Musa Muhammed Maitakobi as a man of many achievements

Com. Idowu Owogesi made this known to newsarena.ng, while reacting to the partnership between the federal government and the national body of RTEAN in Abuja.

Com Idowu said RTEAN has commenced the process of converting all its vehicles from petrol, diesel to Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG and Compressed Natural Gas, CNG.

He said the association was already meeting with government agencies and key players in the oil and gas sector to ensure availability of the gas product to the motoring public.

He said the meeting was also to ensure availability and sustainability of the product to motoring public across the country.

According to Com. Idowu, the LNG, CNG stations is expected to be established in all the zones of the country to allow availability of the products

Com Idowu said the speedy process of converting its vehicles to LNG and CNG was as a result of the Dr Maitakobi’s God giving ability to make ideas come to reality.

The Oyo state RTEAN chairman expressed confidence that Nigerians would soon see the wonders God will do through the national President in the transportation sector.

He, however appealed to the Federal government and stakeholders in the oil and gas sector to give the necessary attention the conversion from petrol to LNG deserves
