Tinubu Appoints Ex Oyo Lawmaker, Olawumi Oladeji As Director In Aviation Sector

President Bola Tinubu has appointed the immediate past member of the Oyo State Assembly, Hon. Bimbo Olawumi Oladeji as Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection in the Aviation sector of the country.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN made the appointment known in a statement on Saturday titled “Appointment of new Directors for the Agencies of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development”.

Hon. Oladeji, who was a two-term lawmaker and Chairperson, House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Inclusion inclusion, was known for her quality representation of the women folk and Ogbomoso North state constituency which she represented in the state assembly

The appointment comes as a recognition of Honorable Oladeji’s experience and expertise while in public service. With her previous tenure as a lawmaker in Oyo State, she has demonstrated her commitment to serving the public and advocating for consumer rights.

All the newly appointed directors, including Honorable Olawumi Bimbo Oladeji, have been instructed to contact the Director of the Human Resource Department at the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development to collect their letters of appointment.

According to the statement by the Minister, the appointment takes immediate effect.

Honorable Oladeji’s appointment is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Federal Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection. Her experience in legislative matters and dedication to public service will undoubtedly contribute to the development and implementation of policies that prioritize consumer rights and public welfare.
