Prof. Aworh, Oyo Commissioners For Education, Agric, Others To Attend Annual IGSOSA Lecture In Ibadan.
All arrangements have been concluded for the Ibadan Grammar school Old Students’ Association, IGSOSA 8th Emmanuel Alayande Memorial Distinguished Alumni Lecture on Thursday, 7th December, 2023.
In a statement by the National publicity secretary of the alumni association, Mr Akinyinka Akintola, the annual lecture with the theme “Nigeria’s Quest For Sustainable Food Security: Challenges, Missed Opportunities and Future Prospects” will begin at noon, at Emmanuel Alayande Hall, Ibadan Grammar School.
According to the statement, President, International Academy of Food Science and Technology, Professor Charles Ogugua AWORH is the guest speaker while Hon. Justice Professor Mojeed Adekunle Owoade, Retired presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal will be the chairman on the occasion.
Other dignitaries expected on the occasion are Alayelua, Olu of Orile Ilawo Oba Alexander Olusegun MacGregor, father of the day; Professor Abdulwaheed Soliu, Oyo state commissioner for education; Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye; Oyo commissioner for agriculture and the National President, IGSOSA, Balogun Gaphar.
The statement also indicates that an exhibition of products in the food value chain would be done before the commencement of the lecture.
