Pandemonium broke out in the early hours of today at Olodo, Iyana Church, Alakia Isebo areas of Ibadan following an alleged sporadic shooting by suspected members of the dissolved oyo state park management system.
According to a witness, who pleaded anonimity, they woke up to sounds of gunshots which made everybody scampered for safety.
She said all shops at Alakia area were under lock and keys following the incident.
Officers of the Nigeria Police Force had on Monday confisticated pump action guns, charms and other dangerous weapons from the residence, of the chairman of the dissolved, PMS, Alhaji Lamidi Mukaila.
Radio Nigeria gathered that Alhaji Mukaila is at large as the time of filling this report.
On his parts, NURTW chairman of the prescribed NURTW, Mr Abideen Olajide, popularly called Ejiogbe urged commercial drivers to be calm as the police was capable of ensuring peace in the city.
It would be recalled that the Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Monday dissolved the park management system, disciplinary committee immediately after his second tern inauguration.
