Ekiti state governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has constituted a twenty member Transition Committee for the successful hand over of administration in the state
The committee is headed by the Secretary to the state government, SSG, Mr Foluso Daramola and Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi is the Co- chairperson
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Yinka Oyrbode in Ado Ekiti Members of the Transition Committee are Mr Tolu Ibitola, Chief of Staff, Mr Wale Fapohunda Attorney General and Comm for Justice, Mr Akin Oyebode Comm for Finance and Mrs Peju Babafemi-Head of Servic
Other members are Dr Olabimpe Aderiye, Dr Oyebanji Filani, Mr O’seun Odewale, Mrs Margaret Fagboyo, Prof Bolaji Aluko, Mr Oluwole Ariyo, Mr Deji Ajayi, Senator Tony Adeniyi and Mr Niyi Adebayo.
In addition, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, Dr Habibat Adubiaro, Mr Sunday Fatoba, Prof Bisi Aina, Mr Adejumo Feyisope made the list
Gov Fayemi also set up a four man Advisory Council comprising of the Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi as Chairperson, former Deputy Governor, Professor Modupe Adelabu as Co-Chairperson while a Former Deputy Governor, Chief Abiodun Aluko and a former Chairman of APC, Chief Jide Awe are members.
The Transition Committee and Advisory Council comprise members nominated by the state government and the Governor-elect.
