INEC Declares APC’s Akande Sadipe, Winner Of Oluyole Fed. Const. Supplimentary Election

Serving Lawmaker and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mrs Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has been declared winner of yesterday’s (Saturday) supplementary election for Oluyole Federal constituency of Oyo state.

Mrs Akande-Sadipe was declared winner by the returning officer, Professor Olaniyi Babayemi.

In his declaration, Professor Babayemi said Mrs Akande-Sadipe polled fourteen thousand, eight hundred and ninety one votes to defeat her closet rival, Mr Olawale Mogbonjubola of the People’s Democratic party, PDP who had thirteen thousand and seventy three votes.

It would be recalled that the Oluyole federal constituency election was declared inconclusive last month following some irregularities during the election after reports of violence and destruction of ballot papers in some polling units.
