Ahead of the 2023 electioneering campaign in Oyo state, leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole local government has begun steps at reconciling aggrieved party members in Oluyole Federal Constituency.
As a result, a stakeholders reconciliation meeting has been held at the fed Constituency
Newsarena.ng gathered that the Oyo State APC governorship candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin, house of reps member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, strong party leaders and other stakeholders were present at the meeting.
Addressing the stakeholders, a former Deputy chairman of the party, Hon. Lekan Adeyemo, said the meeting was held in a bid to reconcile, strengthen and position the party ahead of the 2023 general election.
Hon Adeyemo said the meeting which was held in his house, said that the reconciliation would bring together all factions to unite and remain as one family.
However, the Gubernatorial candidate of the Party in Oyo state and member representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin, said he has no doubt that with the ongoing the reconciliation move, the party will become victorious in 2023.
Also speaking, the Oluyole Federal Representative, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe expressed optimism that APC would remain as a united family.
She also urged all members of the party across the Constituency not to allow opposition to divide them.
She said, “Reconciliation has started in Oluyole, as you can see. The APC Gubernatorial candidate Senator Teslim Folarin and other stakeholders were here. We visited the Leader of APC in Oluyole, Hon. Lekan Adeyemo”.
