Mr Najimdeen Oyesina Oyedeji of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, has been declared winner of the Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal constituency seat.
Announcing the results, the returning officer, Professor Adeolu Adeleke said Mr Oyedeji polled 30,372 votes to defeat other eight contestants.
The returning officer for the Iseyin, Itesiwaju, iwajowa and kajola federal constituency, Professor Adeolu Adeleke, said Mr Oyedeji having scored the required is certified winners and declared returned.
The PDP candidate defeated other eight candidates with 30,372 votes.
Major contender in the concluded election are Accord Party, AP Samson Ogunbode 17,532, All Progressive Congress, APC, Badmus Adebare, 28,821, Labour Party, LP Ogunlade Adeyemi, 1,160.
Our correspondent reports that other stakeholders at the venue of the hall were surprised as the PDP agent suddenly went into jubilation mood not minding the professors and security personnel on seat.
