As the 2023 general election campaign gathers momentum in Nigeria, the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP has unveiled Alhaja Atinuke Adesope as the deputy governorship candidate of the party in Oyo State.
The unveiling of Alhaji Adesope makes it the fifth female candidate contesting under the platform of NNPP in Oyo State.
Speaking shortly before unveiling Alhaja Adesope, the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Engineer Popoola Olukayode Joshua, POJ described his running mate as a best match for the task ahead.
Engineer Popoola said NNPP was ready to liberate the people of Oyo State from the administration of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state.

Adesope who berated the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State for not rewarding the sacrifices made while in PDP appealed to women to be actively involved in politics and vote for NNPP in the 2023 general election.
Southwest leader of the NNPP, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan expressed the determination of the party to win the governorship seat in Oyo state and come victorious in other elective positions.
