Ibarapa East LG Chairman, Hon Kazeem Arogundade Congratulates Christians • Urges Faithful To Sustain Religious Harmony

The Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo state, Hon. Kazeem Arogundade, has extended his warm greetings and felicitations to Christians across the local government and Oyo state in general, as they celebrate the 2024 Christmas season.
In a statement issued on Christmas Eve, Hon. Arogundade expressed his heartfelt wishes to the people of Ibarapa East, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of love, peace, goodwill and sustain Religious Harmony that defines the holiday.
“Christmas is a time of joy, reflection, and togetherness. It is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who exemplified love, compassion, and selflessness,” Hon. Arogundade said.
“As we come together to celebrate this auspicious occasion, I encourage all Christians to renew their faith, deepen their sense of community, and continue to work towards the betterment of our society.”
Hon. Arogundade also reminded residents of the importance of supporting one another during the festive season, particularly those in need.
He called for greater unity within the Ibarapa East communities, emphasizing that peace, love, and harmony are essential values for a prosperous future.
“Let us continue to spread the message of love and unity, not just today, but every day,” he added. “Together, we can build a stronger and more cohesive Ibarapa East.”
In his message, Hon. Arogundade also acknowledged the tireless efforts of local religious leaders and community members who make the holiday season special for families across the region.
Hon. Arogundade, however, commended the Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt( Hon) Adebo Ogundoyin; the great PDP party leader in Ibarapa land, High Chief Adewale Atanda and all the party loyalists, praying that God should continue to strengthen them.
The Ibarapa East number one citizen used the opportunity to appreciate all members of staff of the council including the Head of Local Government Administration, (HLGA), Pastor Sunday Idowu Adegoke and other council’s Management for giving the present administration led by Gov. Seyi Makinde unalloyed support, urging them to keep the flag flying in the year 2025.
He wished all Christians in Ibarapa East a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
