A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo state, Kolapo Kola-Daisi has expressed sadness over the death of the party’s chairman in the state, barrister Isaac Omodewu.
In a condolence message issued in Ibadan, Kolapo Kola-Daisi said he received the news of the passing of Hon. Isaac Omodewu, the esteemed Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, with rude shock and a sense of loss.
He said Hon. Omodewu was not just a leader of the Progressive family in Oyo; his dedication to the ideals and values of the APC was unparalleled.
Kolapo Kola-Daisi explained that late Omodewu’s contributions to the growth and success of the party in Oyo State will forever be remembered.
He said “As we mourn his untimely departure, I extend my deepest condolences to the larger APC family, who have lost a true leader and a good comrade. My thoughts and prayers are also with his immediate family during this incredibly difficult time. May the Almighty grant them the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.
“Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the work we do as a Progressive family, and in the hearts of all who knew him dearly. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
