Long queues at filling stations in Ibadan, Oyo State capital seems to get worse as a result of the fuel scarcity Nigerians presently witness in the country.
Newsarena.ng team who went round some areas within Ibadan metropolis reports that very long queues were in most filling stations, compared to what was witnessed in the last 24hrs.
At Bovas filling station, Eleyele Road, motorists had a difficult time getting the commodity with Long queues of both private and commercial vehicles.
The situation was not different at SAO Filling stations, Onireke and Coca-cola which had led to traffic in the area.
Newarena.ng also observed that many of the filling stations with extremely long queues were the ones selling at the official pump price of N165 per litre.
Nevertheless, it was not an easy ride for motorists who decided to buy at filling stations that sell between N185 and N200 per litre as they had to wait between five to ten minutes to buy.
As at the time of this report, black marketers are resurfacing within Ibadan, especially at Sabo, Mokola, Onireke and Jenbewon axis.
Meanwhile, a motorist, Mr Abel Ajobo who spoke with newsarena.ng said lamented the hardship Nigerians face in getting the commodity.
Mr Ajobo berated government for putting Nigerians through economical hardship, calling on stakeholders at both the Federal and state levels to find a lasting solutions to the menace.
