Oyo state governor, engineer Seyi Makinde has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to continue to collaborate with the military at ensuring security of lives and property.
Gov Makinde made this know while receiving the Chief of Army Staff, Major General T. A. Lagbaja, on a courtesy in his office.
The governor on his verified social media pages wrote:
“Earlier today, we received the Chief of Army Staff, Major General T. A. Lagbaja, on a courtesy visit. Major General Lagbaja is in Ibadan to attend the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2023. We are pleased to be hosting the Nigerian Army in Ibadan as they celebrate 160 years of existence.
“In my remarks during the visit, I thanked the Nigerian Army for their contributions to security in Oyo State and Nigeria. I again reaffirmed our administration’s commitment to continuously collaborate with the army and provide the necessary support to them.
